These terms cover the hosted service at this address. The SaltRim software is separate: it is open source under the MIT licence, and the licence text in the repository governs it.
A free, non-commercial spreadsheet, run by one person as a personal project. There is no charge, no subscription and no commercial relationship between us.
The service is provided as is and as available. It may be slow, may be down, may lose data, and may stop existing. To the fullest extent the law allows, there is no warranty of any kind and no liability for any loss arising from using it — including lost data or lost work.
Keep your own copies of anything you care about. Every sheet exports to .xlsx from the toolbar; that is the backup.
Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in, where those rights cannot be waived.
Your sheets are yours. Hosting them here grants no rights over them beyond what is needed to store and show them to you and to the people you share them with.
You are responsible for what you put in them and for who you share them with. A share link is a capability: anyone holding it can open the sheet, so treat it as a secret and rotate it if it gets out.
Don't use the service to store or distribute unlawful material; don't attempt to reach sheets that were not shared with you; don't attack, overload or probe the service; don't use it to send unsolicited messages to other people.
Accounts or content that break these terms may be removed. Because this is a personal project, the service itself may be discontinued — reasonable notice will be given where that is possible, but it cannot be promised.
